The trivia bowl shifted our in-person bowl-a-thon event to a virtual trivia bowl. I pivoted the event to focus on team building - a component that many companies were searching for. Each company that was already signed up for the bowl-a-thon was approached to participate in the trivia bowl. I worked with a company coordinator from each event to coordinate a time and date that best suited their players, then a zoom link was sent out to participants. We already had a 90s theme for our bowl-a-thon, so I crafted 90s trivia questions for each team with additional company trivia included. Players used Kahoot! to individually compete and the winner took home prize money!
Toolkit
I created a toolkit for players to advertise the event on social media to create more buzz and increase peer-to-peer fundraising.
A link to fundraising tips and FAQs is also included on the toolkit page.
Online Registration
I set up a page using Qgiv to explain more about t the game and the ability for online registraiton.
Participating Companies
I worked with company coordinators from each company to pick the best time and date that worked with their schedule.
How to Play
In the Kahoot platform I created pre-game slides to celebrate our sponsors and educate our players on Junior Achievement and the game.
Trivia Questions
Each trivia question was 90s themed and gave players 20 seconds to answer on their secondary device.
